- Apply to SHRM, complete any extra screening step SHRM asks of you, then book your exam through Prometric at our Mazzeh centre. Exam fees are separate and paid to SHRM.
- Keep the credential active through SHRM's recertification cycle by earning professional development credits. Our course itself ends with an Alalamia certificate.
How we teach it
A large share of the SHRM exam is made up of situational judgement questions: short workplace scenarios where several answers look reasonable and you must pick the most effective one. We teach the reasoning behind those choices, using scenarios drawn from the kinds of situations HR teams in Syria actually face, alongside the knowledge content. Because the source material reflects U.S. practice in places, we show you where the exam expects an international answer and where local labour law differs at work.
Classes are explained in Arabic with English materials and English practice questions. You can attend in person at Mazzeh Western Villas, join live online, or bring the course in-house for your HR team. For organisations, we can pair the programme with our Organisational Health Assessment (OHA), which diagnoses where your people practices need strengthening so the training targets real gaps.

The exam: who awards it and where you sit it
Both credentials are awarded by SHRM, and the exams are delivered by Prometric. The exam is in English and mixes knowledge questions with situational judgement questions.
Alalamia is an Authorised Test Centre for Pearson VUE and Prometric, so you can sit the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP at our centre in Mazzeh Western Villas, on a secure, individually proctored workstation, under the same international security rules as any test centre worldwide. Your result is recorded directly with SHRM. SHRM may ask some applicants to complete an extra screening step before they can schedule, so apply early and leave time for it; we help you through it. Once SHRM approves your application, you schedule your appointment with Prometric, and we will confirm the date with you before you book.
