Our Commitment to Access

Alalamia for Professional Development believes that learning should be open to everyone. We are committed to making our website usable and welcoming for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and screen magnification. Accessibility reflects the same values we bring to our classrooms and testing services: dignity, clarity, and support for every learner.

The Standard We Aim For

We are working to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is a widely recognised international standard for web accessibility. This is a goal we pursue continually rather than a one-time achievement, and we review our site over time to move steadily closer to it.

Built to Be Bilingual

Our website is offered in both English and Arabic, with full right-to-left support for Arabic so that content reads naturally and comfortably. We design our pages so that language, structure, and headings are clear, and so that navigation is consistent as you move between the two languages.

What We Do to Support Access

In building and maintaining the site, we aim to provide readable text with sufficient contrast, meaningful headings and structure, descriptive text for important images, labels on our contact form fields, and pages that can be navigated by keyboard. We try to write in clear, plain language, because clarity itself is a form of accessibility.

Being Honest About Limitations

We know that no website is ever perfectly accessible, and parts of our site may not yet fully meet every criterion we are aiming for. Where content comes from third parties, such as the platforms of examination providers, those experiences are outside our direct control. We would rather tell you this plainly than over-promise. Where we fall short, we want to hear about it and put it right.

Tell Us How We Can Improve

If you encounter any difficulty using our website, or if there is information you need in a more accessible format, please let us know. Your feedback genuinely helps us improve. Contact us at info@alalamia-sy.com or call +963 991 099 555, and where you can, please describe the page and the difficulty so that we can address it as quickly as possible.

An Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is a continuing commitment for us, not a box to be ticked. We will keep learning, keep reviewing our website, and keep working to make sure that everyone who wants to learn with us can reach the information they need. You can also reach us in person at Damascus, Mazzeh Western Villas, Syria.
