Alalamia for Professional Development has trained professionals in Damascus since 2010. For organisations, we bring together everything a training programme needs in one place: understanding what your people need to learn, delivering the courses, arranging certification exams, and reporting back to you on progress.
We work across our five practice areas: IT Training & Certification; Management & Leadership, including finance, accounting and banking, and languages and test preparation; Human Resources; our Authorised Test Centre; and E-Learning. Whether you need one specialist course or a year-long plan for a whole department, we shape the programme around your organisation, not the other way round.
It starts with a training-needs conversation
Before we suggest a single course, we listen. A training-needs conversation with your managers or HR team helps us understand your goals, the roles involved, the skills your teams already have and the gaps you want to close.
From there, we propose a training plan: which courses, in what order, for which groups, and in which format. The plan is yours to review and adjust before anything is confirmed.

The Organisational Health Assessment (OHA)
When you want a more structured picture, our Organisational Health Assessment (OHA) gives you one. The OHA is a training-needs diagnostic: it gathers input from your people in an organised way and helps identify where skills development will make the biggest difference.
The results feed directly into your training plan, so every course has a clear reason behind it. To be clear about scope, the OHA is a training tool. Alalamia is a training company, and we do not offer management consultancy or organisational restructuring.
Team cohorts and private classes, wherever suits you
We can run a private class for your team alone, with content and examples tailored to your sector, or place your staff in our scheduled courses alongside other professionals. Either way, you choose where the learning happens.

Certification exams for your staff
Alalamia is an Authorised Test Centre for Pearson VUE and Prometric, so your teams can certify at our centre in Mazzeh without travelling. Staff sit official exams on secure, individually proctored workstations, under the same international security rules as any test centre worldwide, and results are recorded directly with the awarding body. Through Pearson VUE we deliver exams such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, PMI, ISC2 and AWS, and through Prometric exams such as IMA CMA, ACFE CFE and SHRM.
We help you plan this from the start. For each certification on your plan, we will confirm the exact exam code before anyone books or pays, explain any programme prerequisites, tell you what each candidate needs to prepare, and then help them book, so a group can prepare and test in the same place. Where an awarding body uses its own route, for example an online proctored exam, we prepare your staff and help them register. Exam fees are separate from course fees and are paid to the exam provider. You can see the list of exams we deliver on our exam booking page.
Progress and attendance reports for managers
You invest in your people, so you should see how the training is going. We share attendance records and progress updates with the managers or HR contacts you nominate, at intervals agreed at the start of the programme.
At the end of each course, participants who complete it receive an Alalamia certificate, and you receive a summary for your records.

Proposals, invoices and receipts your finance team can work with
We know organisations need clear paperwork. Every engagement starts with a written proposal and quote in US dollars, setting out the courses, format, number of participants and what is included. The course fee covers training and materials; certification exam fees are separate.
Our typical corporate terms are 70% on confirmation and 30% on delivery. Instalments can be arranged and are always agreed in writing. Payment is made with our office and every payment comes with a receipt, along with invoices for your records.
Pre-employment and skills assessments
Employers can ask us to assess the skills of candidates or existing staff before a hiring decision, a promotion or a training plan. We prepare and run the assessment and share the results with you.
This is skills testing only. Alalamia does not shortlist, interview or recruit on your behalf; the hiring decision always remains entirely yours.

This is offered free of charge. There are no placement fees and we do not act as a recruitment agency: we simply put you in touch, and you and the candidate take it from there.
