Effective Teaching Methods
Learners remember what they think about.
About this course
Learners remember what they think about. This four-day course gives teachers and instructors practical methods to make that thinking happen: planning around clear outcomes, using active learning, asking better questions and adapting work for learners with different needs.
You also learn to check understanding as you teach and give feedback that helps learners improve. Each method is modelled and then tried out, and you finish by teaching a short lesson to the group. Participants receive an Alalamia certificate.
