Occupational Health and Safety Fundamentals
A four-day introduction to keeping people safe and healthy at work.
About this course
A four-day introduction to keeping people safe and healthy at work. You will learn the language of health and safety, the duties that employers, managers and workers carry, and the hazards found in offices, sites, warehouses and workshops, from falls and machinery to stress and hazardous substances.
The course is practical throughout: you will carry out a simple risk assessment, apply the hierarchy of control and look at how safe systems of work, emergency arrangements and good reporting fit together. You leave able to contribute to a real safety culture, with an Alalamia certificate.
