Overview

About this course

A three-day practical course on the most important skill in workplace safety: finding hazards and deciding what to do about them. You will practise structured hazard spotting through inspections and task analysis, think carefully about who could be harmed, and rate risk consistently using a likelihood and severity matrix.

Most of the course is hands-on. Working from realistic workplace scenarios, you will select sensible controls using the hierarchy of control, write assessments people will actually read, and set up a routine for reviewing them. You leave with a completed assessment and an Alalamia certificate.
