Overview

About this course

A focused two-day course on preventing fires and responding calmly when an emergency happens. You will learn how fires start and spread, how to spot and remove everyday fire hazards, and which extinguisher to use on which kind of fire, and when not to try at all.

The second day turns to people: evacuation routes, assembly points, helping colleagues who need assistance, and the duties of fire wardens and emergency teams. You will also plan and review a drill and look at other emergencies such as gas leaks and earthquakes. You receive an Alalamia certificate.
