Overview

About this course

Build the judgement a financial manager needs when money, credit and risk meet. Over five days you will analyse financial statements and cash flow, assess the creditworthiness of a borrower, weigh risk against reward and look at how products are valued and priced.

We then turn to managing weak credit through loan trading, securitisation and credit derivatives, the effect of off-balance sheet exposure, and the warning signs that call for early action. Case work and practice questions prepare you for the ChFM assessment.
