The CIET Diploma in Applied Education & Training is the award for Level 2, Professional Educator, of CIET's five-level professional qualification pathway. It recognises competence in applied teaching and training: advanced facilitation, curriculum delivery, feedback and reporting, and working and leading with colleagues, and is designed for practising teachers and trainers who want to show applied, classroom-ready professional skill.

Overview

The level covers five core modules (Advanced Pedagogy and Learning Facilitation, Curriculum Development and Implementation, Assessment, Feedback, and Reporting, Professional Development Planning, and Communication, Collaboration, and Leadership). Each module is assessed and must be passed, through written examinations, a portfolio and presentations. CIET may exempt candidates from modules on the basis of verified prior learning. As CIET's home in Syria, led by its appointed Country Director, Alalamia guides candidates through registration, preparation and assessment.

CIET assesses its certifications through written examinations, portfolio submissions and applied projects. As CIET's home in Syria, led by its appointed Country Director, Alalamia guides candidates in Syria from application to assessment.

CIET does not state a renewal period for its qualification-pathway awards. Progression from one level to the next requires you to meet CIET's CPD requirements and to keep to its examination Code of Conduct, including academic integrity and original work.
