What an Authorised Test Centre means for you

Pearson VUE delivers certification exams for many of the world's leading awarding bodies. As an Authorised Test Centre for Pearson VUE and Prometric, Alalamia delivers those exams at our centre in Mazzeh Western Villas, under the same international security rules as any test centre worldwide. Each candidate sits at a secure, individually proctored workstation, and the result is recorded directly with the awarding body, exactly as it would be anywhere else.

The centre is open to everyone. You do not need to have studied with us: our own learners, self-taught candidates, university students and staff sent by their employers all book here. If you would like preparation first, our courses lead straight to the exam, and you sit it a few steps from your classroom.

How to book your exam

Booking takes a few clear steps, and we guide you through each one. If anything is unclear, message us on WhatsApp at +963 991 099 555 or email info@alalamia-sy.com.

Send us the exact exam code and your preferred dates, and we will confirm the exam and the available dates with you.
Create or check your candidate account with the awarding body, using your name exactly as it appears on your ID, in Latin letters.
Meet any programme requirements first, for example PMI's experience requirements and application approval for the PMP.
Pay the exam fee, which is set by the awarding body and paid to the exam provider, separate from any course fee.
Keep your appointment confirmation. Rescheduling and cancellation follow the provider's rules and deadlines.

On exam day

Arrive early so that check-in is calm, and bring the identification your exam requires. The name on it must match your registration exactly, or you may not be admitted.

At check-in, the proctor confirms your identity and seats you at your workstation, and the exam runs on screen under continuous supervision. Many exams show a provisional result when you finish, and the official result is recorded with the awarding body.

Bring your ID, with the same name as your registration
Leave phones, watches and bags in the secure storage provided
Ask the proctor before the exam starts if anything about the workstation is unclear
If you need an exam accommodation, request it through the awarding body well before you book

Prepare with us, then test with us

Many candidates combine the two. Our courses for CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, PMI and other certifications are taught in Arabic with English materials, in person in Mazzeh or live online, and they follow each exam's published objectives. We prepare candidates for these certifications; the awarding body sets and marks the exam.

Organisations can also book group sessions for staff who are ready to test, and we help coordinate dates so that a team can sit its exams within the same week.
