A one-hour live class on auditing and protecting workbooks: tracing precedents and dependents, evaluating formulas, using the Watch Window and data validation, adding drop-down lists and setting workbook passwords.
Curriculum
- Determine which cells are used in a formula and if a cell is used in a formula
- Show all formulas on a worksheet, evaluate a formula, add a watch window and apply data validation
- Create drop-down lists to restrict data entry to a date. Add and remove a password to a workbook
- Add protection to an entire worksheet protect cells, worksheets, and workbooks
