Overview

About this course

Learn to read, apply and defend sanctions decisions in cross-border business. Over seven days you will examine the main sanctions regimes, how far their reach extends, and how secondary sanctions affect organisations far from the issuing country.

You will then build the practical side of a sanctions programme: risk assessment, screening and due diligence, trade finance and third-party checks, and handling investigations and regulator questions. Case studies and practice questions prepare you for the CGSP assessment.
