The CIET Postgraduate Diploma in Education & Training is the award for Level 4, Executive Leadership, of CIET's five-level professional qualification pathway. It recognises executive-level competence at a postgraduate level: strategic leadership and governance, advanced scholarship, global trends, leading professional development and shaping education policy, and is designed for senior leaders responsible for transforming organisations and education systems.
The level covers five core modules (Strategic Leadership and Governance, Advanced Research and Scholarship, Global Trends in Education and Training, Mentorship and Professional Development Leadership, and Education Policy and Advocacy). Each module is assessed and must be passed, through written examinations, a portfolio and presentations, together with a capstone or research project. CIET may exempt candidates from modules on the basis of verified prior learning. As CIET's home in Syria, led by its appointed Country Director, Alalamia guides candidates through registration, preparation and assessment.

CIET assesses its certifications through written examinations, portfolio submissions and applied projects. As CIET's home in Syria, led by its appointed Country Director, Alalamia guides candidates in Syria from application to assessment.

Renewal and validity
CIET does not state a renewal period for its qualification-pathway awards. Progression from one level to the next requires you to meet CIET's CPD requirements and to keep to its examination Code of Conduct, including academic integrity and original work.
