Training & DevelopmentCIET Certified Leadership in Education Specialist (CLES)
The CIET Certified Leadership in Education Specialist (CLES) recognises the leadership needed to run an educational institution: strategic planning, governance, leading change and developing teams. It sits in CIET's Educator Pathway and is aimed at practising teachers, lecturers and education professionals in schools, colleges and universities who want their expertise formally assessed and recognised internationally.
Candidates complete five CIET modules (Leadership Theories, Strategic Planning, Policy & Governance, Change Management and Mentorship & Team Leadership) and need 5 or more years of experience, including leadership responsibilities. Assessment combines a written examination with a portfolio of real professional work, and at this senior level CIET may also require an applied capstone project and an oral defence before a panel. As CIET's home in Syria, led by its appointed Country Director, Alalamia checks your eligibility, helps you with the application and guides your preparation through to assessment.
