Training & DevelopmentCIET Certified Assessment & Evaluation Specialist (CAES)
The CIET Certified Assessment & Evaluation Specialist (CAES) recognises skill in designing assessments, measuring learner performance and using the resulting data to improve teaching. It sits in CIET's Educator Pathway and is aimed at practising teachers, lecturers and education professionals in schools, colleges and universities who want their expertise formally assessed and recognised internationally.
Candidates complete five CIET modules (Foundations of Assessment, Designing Assessments, Evaluation & Data Analysis, Technology in Assessment and Professional Ethics) and need 1 to 3 years of teaching experience. Assessment combines a written examination with a portfolio of real professional work, with an applied project where CIET requires it. As CIET's home in Syria, led by its appointed Country Director, Alalamia checks your eligibility, helps you with the application and guides your preparation through to assessment.
