Alalamia Diploma in Interior Design and Architectural Visualisation
A practical programme that joins the design thinking behind good interiors with the software and hand skills used to present them. You move from space planning and materials to technical drawings in AutoCAD, 3D models in SketchUp and Revit, and photorealistic renders in 3ds Max with V-Ray. Hand rendering and perspective drawing complete the toolkit, so you can sketch ideas as convincingly as you render them.
Architecture and interior design students and graduates, junior designers and draughtspeople who want stronger visualisation skills, and career changers with a keen eye for space. Basic computer skills are expected; drawing experience helps but is not required.
What you receive: Alalamia Diploma in Interior Design and Architectural Visualisation, awarded on completing every course and the final design project.
- Plan interior spaces with sound attention to function, circulation, lighting, colour and materials

- Build 3D models of interiors and buildings in SketchUp and Revit
- Create realistic visualisations with 3ds Max and V-Ray, including lighting, materials and cameras
- Communicate design ideas by hand with perspective drawing, grayscale shading and marker rendering

How the diploma runs
Run as evening or weekend cohorts at our centre in Damascus, as live online classes, or privately for a team. Most cohorts complete the diploma in roughly 18 to 20 weeks. Each course includes guided studio exercises, and the diploma closes with a capstone project: a complete interior scheme with drawings, a 3D model, rendered views and hand sketches, presented to your trainer.
Questions and answers
An Alalamia diploma is our own award. It shows that you completed a planned programme of several courses with us, passed its practical assessments and met the attendance requirement. An international certification is awarded by the vendor or awarding body after you pass its official exam. Many of our diplomas prepare you for such a certification, but the certification itself is earned through that exam, not through the diploma.
No. The diploma fee covers training and course materials. Exam fees are separate and are paid directly to the exam provider. We will tell you which exam applies and what it involves. Many exams can be sat at our Authorised Test Centre for Pearson VUE and Prometric in Mazzeh, and we confirm the exact exam before you book.
Yes. You can start with the first course of a diploma and continue at your own pace, or take a single course on its own. Each completed course earns an Alalamia certificate, and the courses you complete count towards the diploma if you decide to finish it later.
Yes, instalments are possible and are agreed in writing before you start. Quotes are given in writing in US dollars. Payment is made at our office and you always receive a receipt.
