- Write and test prompts for research, summarization, and ideation in Perplexity
- Refine prompts to get more accurate, well sourced answers
- Work with a team to design and present a Perplexity supported solution
- Reflect on basic ethical considerations, such as accuracy, bias, and transparency

- Review the Prompt-a-Thon flow and what teams will deliver
- Team roles and expectations
- How to test and iterate prompts in a focused way
- Identify a few tasks or workflows that take time or create friction
- Pick one problem to solve using Perplexity
- Build a first draft prompt
- Test the prompt in Perplexity and review the output
- Try new versions and capture the strongest examples
- Share the best prompt versions within the group
- Agree on the example that tells the clearest story
- Present the problem, the prompt approach, and the result
