German Conversation and Pronunciation

A 30-hour course focused entirely on speaking.

Overview

About this course

A 30-hour course focused entirely on speaking. You work on the sounds that learners of German find hardest, such as the umlauts, the ich and ach sounds and the German r, and on the stress and sentence melody that make spoken German clear and natural.

Most of the time is spent talking: role plays, discussions, telephone and video call practice and short presentations, with regular feedback from your trainer. The course suits anyone who understands more German than they can comfortably say. You finish with an Alalamia certificate.
