Overview

About this course

B2 is the level at which you can use German with real confidence in professional and academic life. Based on the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), this course develops your ability to argue a case, follow complex discussions and write clear, well-organised texts.

You master the structures typical of formal German, such as the passive in all tenses, Konjunktiv I and extended noun phrases, and use them in debates, presentations, meetings, essays and formal letters. Classes are demanding but supportive, and you finish with an Alalamia certificate.
