About this course
This course builds on A1 so you can talk about the past, describe your surroundings and manage routine situations in German with more confidence. It follows the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and adds the Perfekt, the dative case, subordinate clauses and comparisons.
Practical tasks such as finding a flat, visiting the doctor, booking a holiday or writing an email to a friend bring the grammar to life. Classes balance speaking, listening, reading and writing. You finish with an Alalamia certificate and are ready for B1.
