C++ Programming: CPA Exam Preparation
Build a firm command of C++ and object-oriented programming.
About this course
Build a firm command of C++ and object-oriented programming. Over seven days you will review the core language, then work in depth with pointers, references and dynamic memory before designing your own classes with constructors, destructors, copying, inheritance, polymorphism, operator overloading and exceptions.
Each topic is reinforced through hands-on coding labs. The final day is dedicated to preparation for the associate-level C++ certification exam (not to be confused with the accounting qualification of the same initials).
What you'll learn
- Write structured C++ programs using the core language features
- Use pointers, references and dynamic memory safely
- Design classes with constructors, destructors and access control
- Apply inheritance and polymorphism with virtual functions
- Overload operators for your own types
- Handle errors with exceptions
- Prepare thoroughly for the associate-level C++ certification exam
