Microsoft AzureMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
The Azure Solutions Architect Expert proves that you can translate business requirements into secure, scalable and resilient Azure designs aligned with the Well-Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework. It is held by solution architects and senior engineers who advise stakeholders on identity, data, business continuity and infrastructure.
You earn it by passing exam AZ-305 while holding the Azure Administrator Associate certification. Candidates bring advanced experience in IT operations, Azure administration and development, and our AZ-305T00 course works through the exam's design areas with case studies, architecture exercises and practice questions.

Renewal and validity
The renewal assessment opens six months before expiry, is shorter than the exam, unproctored and open book, and each pass adds one year, independently of your Azure Administrator Associate prerequisite. Microsoft revises its renewal rules from time to time, so check the current policy on Microsoft Learn.
