Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
The Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate proves that you can administer Windows Server across on-premises and Azure environments, covering Active Directory, networking, storage, security, high availability, disaster recovery and migration with tools such as Windows Admin Center, PowerShell and Azure Arc. It is held by experienced Windows Server administrators extending their skills into the cloud.
The certification was built on two exams, AZ-800 and AZ-801, and Microsoft now measures the same scope in a single combined exam. Candidates usually have several years of Windows Server experience, and our two hybrid courses, on core infrastructure (AZ-800T00) and advanced services (AZ-801T00), cover the full skill set with guided labs and an exam-readiness review.

Renewal and validity
Role-based certifications are valid for one year, and the renewal assessment opens on Microsoft Learn six months before expiry; it is shorter than the original exam, unproctored and open book, and each pass extends the certification by a year from its expiry date. Microsoft revises its renewal rules from time to time, so check the current policy on Microsoft Learn before you plan.
