Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
The Power Platform App Maker Associate recognised business users who build low-code solutions for themselves and their teams, turning everyday tasks into Power Apps, automated flows and simple reports. It suited problem solvers close to the work rather than professional developers.
It was earned through exam PL-100, with Power Platform Fundamentals as a useful foundation. Microsoft has since retired both the exam and the certification, so it is no longer issued; our Power Platform training still builds the same app-making and automation skills and points you towards Microsoft's current credentials.

Where do you sit the exam? Exam retired
The awarding body has retired this exam, so it can no longer be booked. Ask us about the exam that replaced it.
Renewal and validity
While it was offered, the certification was valid for one year and renewed free through an online assessment on Microsoft Learn; with that assessment now retired, a certification already held can no longer be extended and lapses on its expiry date. To keep a current credential in this area, plan your move to an active Microsoft certification, and check the current policy on Microsoft Learn because requirements change.
