Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
The Identity and Access Administrator Associate proves that you can design, implement and operate identity and access management with Microsoft Entra, applying Zero Trust principles to users, devices, applications and Azure resources. It is held by administrators responsible for authentication, access, workload identities and identity governance.
The certification requires exam SC-300, and Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals is a helpful starting point. Candidates are usually familiar with Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory Domain Services, PowerShell and KQL, and our SC-300 course combines guided labs in Microsoft Entra with a structured review of every exam area.

Renewal and validity
Role-based certifications are valid for one year, and the renewal assessment opens on Microsoft Learn six months before expiry; it is shorter than the original exam, unproctored and open book, and each pass extends the certification by a year from its expiry date. Microsoft revises its renewal rules from time to time, so check the current policy on Microsoft Learn before you plan.
