The Teams Administrator Associate proves that you can plan, deploy, configure and manage Microsoft Teams for secure, effective collaboration and communication across Microsoft 365. It is held by Teams and collaboration administrators and Microsoft 365 administrators who own meetings, calling and chat.
You earn it by passing exam MS-700, which covers configuring a Teams environment, managing teams, channels, chats and apps, running meetings and calling, and monitoring and troubleshooting. Candidates understand how Teams integrates with Microsoft 365 services, and our Manage Microsoft Teams course (MS-700T00) follows the exam skills outline with guided labs and practice questions.

Renewal and validity
You can take the renewal assessment at any point in the six months before expiry; it is unproctored, open book and shorter than MS-700, and each pass extends the certification by one year. If you let it lapse, you will need to pass MS-700 again, so check Microsoft's current renewal policy on Microsoft Learn.
