This certification, now titled Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, proves that you can deploy, secure and manage Windows and other devices and their apps at scale with Microsoft Intune. It is held by endpoint, desktop and device management administrators in modern workplaces.
You earn it by passing exam MD-102, which covers preparing infrastructure for devices, managing and protecting them, securing applications and automating endpoint operations. Candidates have experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and Windows deployment, and our Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator course (MD-102T00) follows the exam skills outline with guided labs on Autopilot, compliance policies and app deployment, plus practice questions.

Renewal and validity
The renewal assessment opens six months before expiry, is shorter than the exam, unproctored and open book, and each pass adds one year; if the certification lapses, you must pass the exam again. Microsoft revises its renewal rules from time to time, so check the current policy on Microsoft Learn.
