Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
The Messaging Administrator Associate recognised administrators who planned, configured and secured email on Exchange Online and Microsoft 365, from recipients and mail flow to threat protection, compliance and client connectivity. It was held by messaging and Microsoft 365 administrators.
Microsoft has retired exam MS-203 together with its renewal assessment, so the credential can no longer be earned or kept current. Messaging skills remain essential for Microsoft 365 teams, and the Teams Administrator Associate and Endpoint Administrator Associate are current, renewable credentials for administrators on this platform.

Renewal and validity
A retired Microsoft certification stays active on your transcript only until it expires and then moves to your certification history, with no renewal route. To hold a current Microsoft 365 credential, consider the Teams Administrator or Endpoint Administrator associate certifications, and check Microsoft's current policy on Microsoft Learn because requirements change.
