EC-CouncilEC-Council Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)
EC-Council Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA) proves that you can plan, collect, analyse and share threat intelligence that helps an organisation anticipate attacks. It is held by threat intelligence analysts, SOC professionals, incident responders and security researchers.
The certification is earned through exam 312-85, which covers the intelligence lifecycle, data collection and processing, analysis techniques, and reporting and dissemination. Candidates usually have some security experience, and preparation focuses on structured analysis methods, hands-on collection tools and exam-style practice.

Renewal and validity
Under EC-Council's continuing professional education (CPE) scheme, previously called ECE, you log 120 credits for each certification within its three-year cycle through activities such as conferences, webinars, training, publishing or passing a newer exam version, and you pay an annual fee that extends the certificate year by year. Missing the requirements leads to suspension and then revocation, so check EC-Council's current CPE policy, as details change.
