Agile & ScrumDisciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM)
The Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) from PMI shows that you can lead agile teams with the Disciplined Agile toolkit, choosing a way of working that fits the context rather than following a single method. It is held by scrum masters, team leads and project managers working in agile and hybrid settings.
PMI has since moved Disciplined Agile into learning courses, so the DASM exam is no longer offered to new candidates, while current holders can keep the credential active. If you are starting out, our Scrum and agile courses build the same practical foundations and lead to current credentials such as the Certified ScrumMaster.

Stay current
Keep it active each year by earning 7 PDUs in agile topics and paying PMI's annual renewal fee.
Where do you sit the exam? Exam retired
The awarding body has retired this exam, so it can no longer be booked. Ask us about the exam that replaced it.
Renewal and validity
The DASM runs on a one-year cycle: you report 7 professional development units (PDUs) in agile topics and pay the renewal fee, which varies with PMI membership and region. Check PMI's current policy before your renewal date, because requirements change.
