CLA: C Certified Associate Programmer
CLA: C Certified Associate Programmer, from the C++ Institute (part of OpenEDG), confirms that you can write working C programs with a good grasp of how the language really behaves. It suits developers, embedded and systems engineers, and students who already know the basics and want a recognised step up.
The exam goes beyond the fundamentals into pointers, memory, strings, structures, functions in depth, the preprocessor and working with files. Our preparation course combines careful explanation with plenty of hands-on coding, so the tricky parts of C become familiar, and then rehearses the exam format before you sit it.
