Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
The Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance shows that you know how to own a product in scrum: setting a clear vision, ordering the backlog by value and working closely with stakeholders and the team. It is held by product owners, product managers and business leads who decide what gets built next.
The CSPO is earned by completing a CSPO course; there is no final exam. Our course follows the published learning objectives with hands-on practice in writing user stories, prioritising, refining the backlog and planning releases, so you leave ready to step into the role.

Renewal and validity
Every two years you report 20 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) from reading, webinars, events or further training and pay the renewal fee, and if you later earn a higher product owner certification, renewing that one renews the CSPO too. Check Scrum Alliance's current renewal policy before your deadline, because requirements change.
Let's plan your next step together.
Tell us the course or certification you have in mind and we'll send the outline, upcoming dates, fees and private-team options.
