ISACACertified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA®)
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is a globally recognised credential for professionals who audit, control, monitor and assess information technology and business systems. It is held by IT auditors, assurance and compliance specialists, and risk and security professionals.
The CISA exam is a multiple-choice test covering the audit process, IT governance and management, systems acquisition and implementation, operations and resilience, and protection of information assets. Certification also requires verified experience in IS audit, control or security, and preparation works through each domain with practice questions, case scenarios and exam-technique guidance.

Renewal and validity
ISACA requires a minimum of 20 CPE hours annually and 120 hours across each three-year reporting period, all relevant to CISA, together with an annual maintenance fee and adherence to its Code of Professional Ethics; reported hours may be audited. ISACA revises its CPE policy from time to time, so check its current requirements to keep your designation in good standing.
