ISACACertified Information Security Manager® (CISM®)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) recognises professionals who design, manage and oversee an enterprise information security programme, linking security to business goals. It is held by security managers, CISOs and governance and risk leaders.
The CISM exam is a multiple-choice test across four domains: information security governance, risk management, the information security programme, and incident management. Certification also requires verified information security management experience, and preparation follows the ISACA exam content outline with domain-by-domain practice questions and exam-technique coaching.

Renewal and validity
ISACA requires a minimum of 20 CPE hours annually and 120 hours across each three-year reporting period, all relevant to CISM, together with an annual maintenance fee and adherence to its Code of Professional Ethics; reported hours may be audited. ISACA revises its CPE policy from time to time, so check its current requirements to keep your designation in good standing.
