Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®)
The Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) from IIBA recognises business analysts who have built solid practical experience and can apply the BABOK Guide to elicit requirements, analyse needs and support solutions. It suits analysts with a few years in the role who are ready to formalise their skills.
Candidates document business analysis work experience and professional development hours, then pass a scenario-based exam built on the BABOK Guide. Our preparation course works through each knowledge area and technique with case studies and timed practice questions to build exam readiness.

Renewal and validity
Every three years you record 60 continuing development units (CDUs), pay the recertification fee and apply online, with a one-year grace period if you miss the date, and holders of both CCBA and CBAP only recertify the CBAP. Check IIBA's current recertification policy before your deadline, because requirements change.
Let's plan your next step together.
Tell us the course or certification you have in mind and we'll send the outline, upcoming dates, fees and private-team options.
