Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM)
The Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) from Scrum Alliance recognises scrum masters who have moved beyond the basics and can coach teams, facilitate through conflict and help agile practices take root across an organisation. It is held by working scrum masters with at least a year of real experience in the role.
There is no separate exam: you earn the A-CSM by holding a CSM, documenting 12 months of scrum master work within the last five years and completing an A-CSM course. Our preparation follows the published learning objectives, with guided practice in facilitation, coaching and scaling scrum that you can apply with your own teams.

Renewal and validity
Every two years you report 30 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) from learning, events or community work and pay the renewal fee, and renewing the A-CSM also renews your CSM, though Scrum Alliance may ask for some extra SEUs for it. Check Scrum Alliance's current renewal policy before your deadline, because requirements change.
Let's plan your next step together.
Tell us the course or certification you have in mind and we'll send the outline, upcoming dates, fees and private-team options.
