You sit your exam on a secure, individually proctored workstation, under the same international security rules as any test centre worldwide, and your result is recorded directly with the awarding body. How booking works
Booking an exam is straightforward when each step is done in the right order. We guide you through every one of them and confirm your exact exam with you before you book or pay anything.
If at any point you are unsure, send us a message on WhatsApp or by email and we will walk you through it.
- Find your exam in the list of exams we deliver and note its exact exam code.
- Tell us the exam code and your preferred dates. We confirm the exam, the provider's fee and the exact steps before you book or pay.
- Create your candidate account on Pearson VUE or Prometric, depending on your exam, using your name exactly as it appears on your ID, written in Latin letters. A mismatch between your account and your ID can stop you from testing on the day.
- Select Alalamia, Damascus as your test centre and pick an available date and time.
- Pay the exam fee to the exam provider. Exam fees are set by the awarding body and are separate from any course fee; they are paid to the provider, not to us.
- Receive your booking confirmation and keep it safe.
- Read our exam-day guide so you arrive prepared and on time.
What to bring on the day
Bring a valid, original government-issued photo ID. The name on it must match the name on your exam registration exactly. Expired documents and photocopies are not accepted.
Some programmes ask for two forms of identification. When we confirm your booking, we tell you exactly what your exam requires, so there are no surprises at the door.
Rescheduling and cancellation
Rescheduling, cancellation and any related fees follow the exam provider's own rules, and these differ from one programme to another. Deadlines are usually counted back from your appointment time, so the earlier you act, the more options you keep.
If your plans change, contact us as soon as you can and we will help you work through the provider's process.
External candidates are welcome
You do not need to have studied with us to book an exam. Our Mazzeh centre is open to everyone: self-taught candidates, university students and staff sent by their employers are all welcome, and receive the same care and clear guidance as our own learners.
If your exam is taken through another route
A few awarding bodies do not deliver their exams through Pearson VUE or Prometric. ISACA exams are delivered through PSI; PeopleCert (ITIL 4, PRINCE2), IIBA, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, PECB and GAFM exams are taken online with remote proctoring; ACCA runs its own exam sessions; and IELTS is held at official IELTS venues in Damascus run by another organisation.
For these certifications, we prepare you fully and help you register through the awarding body's own route, so you know exactly how and where you will sit your exam.

Alalamia is an Authorised Test Centre for both networks, so exams such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, PMI, ISC2, AWS, IMA CMA and SHRM are sat at our centre in Mazzeh. Tell us the exact exam code and we will confirm it before you book or pay.
No. External candidates are welcome. You can book with us whether you studied on your own, at university or through your employer.
Exam fees are paid to the exam provider, separately from any course fee. We tell you the fee and how to pay it when we confirm your booking. Anything you pay to Alalamia, such as a course fee, is paid at our office and always comes with a receipt.
